Specialities Buying a Car / Property We recognise that when making a large purchase such as buying that new car or getting together the deposit for a new house every penny counts. For transactions of this size we will normally offer you a superior* rate to the counter rate when you deal "draft for draft". You buy a bank draft payable to us and we will get you a bank draft payable to the required party. For transactions of this size you will need to contact us in advance to arrange the transaction and agree a rate. You should also look at our identification policy. Going On Holiday / Got A Bill To Pay We can take the sting out of the cost of your holiday by offering you a better* rate if you take a cheque payable to the travel agent. Most local travel agents accept our cheques, but you should always confirm this with them first. Similarly if you have a bill to pay you can normally* get a better rate if you deal cheque for cheque, where you give us a cheque payable to us and we give you a cheque payable to the party required. For transactions of this size you will need to contact us in advance to arrange the transaction and agree a rate. You should also look at our identification policy. The National Lottery We are a National Lottery retailer and you can play Lotto, Lotto Extra, Thunderball, Hotpicks, EuroMillions, Daily Play and ScratchCards on our premises. *Note: The rate offered is dependant on the amount being changed, the form of exchange (e.g. cheque/draft) and the rate the currency is trading on the currency markets. It may not always be possible to give a superior rate. A better rate is not offered for cash transactions.
